Travel River Cruises, has unveiled ‘The Riviera Moment,’ a collection of exclusive
new experiences available only to Riviera guests.
The specially curated events designed to elevate some of
Riviera’s most popular European
itineraries offer privileged access to iconic venues, private performances,
expert-led encounters, and memorable celebrations that bring travelers closer
to the history, artistry, and traditions of each destination.
“The Riviera Moment reflects everything our guests value the
most about travel: authentic cultural connections, unique access, and
unforgettable experiences that can’t be replicated,” said Stuart Milan,
president of North America for Riviera Travel River Cruises in a statement.
“These events open doors to remarkable venues and experiences reserved solely
for our guests, creating memories that will stay with them long after they
return home.”
The Riviera Moment’ itineraries include:
- Private Access to the House of Strauss –
Travelers exploring The Blue Danube can now enjoy an intimate look at Vienna’s
rich musical heritage with private access to the music venue. The evening begins
with welcome drinks before an exclusive classical concert is performed in the
historic Strauss Hall. Time is allowed to explore the Strauss Museum,
discovering the story of the dynasty that helped shape Vienna’s enduring
musical legacy. Departures featuring this experience begin in April 2028 and
priced from $2,649 per person.
- Exclusive Visit to Kloster Eberbach –
Guests sailing aboard the Rhine Cruise to Switzerland itinerary will discover
what’s behind Germany’s celebrated wine country during an exclusive visit to
Kloster Eberbach, one of Europe’s most renowned monasteries and wineries.
Following a sparkling wine reception, guests will have a private tour of the
historic abbey and taste regional wines before enjoying a private concert in
the Romanesque Basilica. Departures featuring this experience begin in May 2028
and priced from $3,349 per person.
- Exclusive Private Villa Gathering – Those
sailing through Burgundy, the River Rhone & Provence will experience an
exclusive reception and concert in a private villa set amid the vineyards of
Tain-I’Hermitage. Beginning with a Saint-Péray welcome reception featuring a
tasting of distinguished Rhône wines, an intimate live musical performance will
take place surrounded by the picturesque landscapes of southeastern France.

- Private Access to the Prestigious Musée des
Impressionnismes Giverny – Travelers onboard the Seine, Paris, and Normandy
journey can enjoy private access to this world-renowned museum, gaining
personal insight into the Impressionist movement. Following exploration of the
museum and gardens at leisure, the experience concludes with drinks and local
canapés in the picturesque village of Giverny. Departures debut in April 2028

‘The Riviera Moment’ collection launch coincides with the
opening of sales for all 2028 Riviera Travel River Cruises itineraries.
Travelers can now book departures across the Danube, Douro, Rhine, Moselle,
Main, Rhône, Seine, Dutch, and Mekong waterways, including sailings aboard the
new Riviera Rhapsody, which will debut in April 2028 on the Dutch Waterways and
Rhine River.
