VIVA Cruises has unveiled new Seine River voyages in France for November and December.
The river cruise line will offer seven unique itineraries on the Seine this winter, including a 7-day Christmas cruise and a 7-day New Year’s voyage. The journeys will be offered onboard the 152-guest VIVA GLORIA, which recently underwent a refurbishment.
All of the cruises will start and end in Paris, with a docking location near the Eiffel Tower. From Paris, travelers will head west into Normandy, visiting towns like Poissy, Les Andelys and Rouen.

As they travel through France, travelers will be able to visit iconic landmarks like the Palace of Versailles, the Rouen Cathedral, Chateau de Chantilly and the Joan of Arc Museum. They’ll also be able to enjoy panoramic city tours and outings to historic sites.
Of course, since the voyages are being offering during the holidays, guests will also have a chance to visit traditional Christmas markets.
“In keeping with the company motto, ‘Enjoy the Moment,’ these voyages exemplify VIVA Cruises' commitment to taking travelers on expertly curated journeys, complete with specialty excursions that immerse our guests in the local culture and heritage," says Andrea Kruse, the line’s chief executive officer.
