If you're a fan of double tapping photos of far-flung destinations, Instagram has a new user you simply must follow.
One Bill Gates of Washington state has become the latest high-profile celebrity (and the richest man) on the photo sharing network.

To be sure, the tech giant is a bit of a late adopter when it comes to the rapidly growing social media site. (He had to secure the handle @ThisIsBillGates because @BillGates was already taken.)
Still, since joining the platform on August 11, the Microsoft founder has amassed more than 150,000 followers.
His first (and only) post is a slideshow from Tanzania, where he undertaking Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation business and hopefully enjoying a little sightseeing.

"I always love seeing how much progress the country has made to improve health and provide opportunity," wrote Gates in his first insta-post. "Plus, the scenery is stunning."
Gates's wife, Melinda is already an active member of Instagram, with the handle @MelindaFrenchGates.
She welcomed her husband to the platform with a throwback photo of the two of them, and the note, "At last, Bill is on Instagram-and I can finally tag him in throwback photos like this one. Welcome, @thisisbillgates!"
