While global K-pop phenomenon BTS is back together after nearly four years for its amazing whirlwind global tour, young adult tour operator Contiki is giving travelers an easy way to combine a fun trip to a new place with the opportunity to pair a tour experience with a BTS World Tour Arirang concert.
As the ‘gig-tripping’ trend shows no sign of stopping, travelers, especially Millennials and Gen Z, are more interested in traveling further to see their favorite artists perform, with Contiki’s Voice of a Generation Survey finding that 20 percent of these young adults plan to travel around a concert this year.
That’s why Contiki’s launching BTS: Beyond The Show itineraries, combining a BTS concert with some of its amazing tours around the world, operating either before or just after a tour date.
One such trip is the South Korean Soul itinerary departing April 3. This 9-day, one-country exploration of South Korea takes travelers back where it all began, with a BTS concert at Goyang Stadium on April 12.
For those not looking to go quite so far, Contiki’s offering the 6-day England in a Week tour on July 8, paired with the July 6 performance at London’s Tottenham Stadium.
Other itineraries pair BTS concerts with tours in Japan, Paris, Brazil, Bangkok, Singapore and more.
