Global tour operator G Adventures has announced the return of its annual agent reward challenge, Change Makers.
Running from February 01, 2024, to May 31, 2024, the challenge encourages agents to focus on changing people's lives through travel by booking G Adventures trips. Fifteen travel advisors will earn a space at the community tourism pioneer’s third Change Makers GX Summit taking place later this year in a yet-to-be-revealed destination. These agents will join a contingent of 75 winners from around the globe brought together to celebrate the impact of community tourism.
The Change Makers reward program runs alongside both the G-Normous and You Belong with G Experience initiatives, all three designed to support G Adventures’ community of agents in changing lives through booking small group operator’s trips around the world.
To be eligible to earn a spot, agents receive one entry per ‘life changed’ / traveler booked. The top 10 agents from each region will qualify, with an additional five ‘wildcard’ spaces available to each region to allocate to agents who commit to changing someone’s life by making at least one G Adventures booking, along with meeting wildcard incentive rules.
Wildcard challenges for 2024 include completing G-learning training modules, fundraising for G Adventures’ non-profit partner, Planeterra, opportunities for ‘first time- booking agents to win a place at the GX Summit, as well as an overall reward for the agent who has changed the most lives from June 1, 2023 to May 31st, 2024.
Agents will see their impact in action at the event which highlights visits to the ‘G for Good’ community tourism projects built together with Planeterra, as well as destination highlights to help agents build their product knowledge.
