Following the success of its September AMP Up Commission Challenge, Carnival Cruise Line is renewing the opportunity for travel agents to earn greater commissions in 2018.
"We had a tremendous response to our first commission challenge and wanted to build upon it with a new opportunity for agents to earn more as we move into the year ahead," said Carnival's Vice President of Sales and Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez, in a press release. "This challenge is designed to give agents a boost of inspiration as they plan out their 2018 goals."
Looking to next year, the company's new AMP Up Commission Program will give agencies the chance to raise their commission rate up to 15 percent according to active deposited reservations filed between January 1 and March 31, 2018. Qualifying travel professionals who reach certain booking objectives during said window can then earn the larger commissions on new reservations made between April 1 and December 31, 2018.
New FIT and Group reservations made during the second window will qualify for the higher commissions, and all berthed group staterooms will earn according to the commission set at the time of the reservation.
U.S., Puerto Rican and Canadian travel agencies now earning 10-14 percent commissions are eligible to participate in the AMP Up Commission Program. For more information, visit GoCCL.com.
