JetBlue Vacations has partnered with WeatherPromise and the Jamaica Tourism Board to introduce the “Great Weather Guarantee” for Jamaica Flight + Hotel packages, offering travelers a $500 payout if rainfall exceeds the amount promised for their trip.
The offer is available for bookings made between March 1 and May 31, 2026. Eligible travel dates are from now through December 1, 2026, for flights in and out of Montego Bay and Kingston.
It applies to bookings of three to 16 nights.
“JetBlue Vacations was the first airline vacation brand to partner with WeatherPromise in 2025, introducing rain protection for Flight + Hotel packages,” the company said.
“With the launch of the Great Weather Guarantee in Jamaica, JetBlue Vacations becomes the first in the industry to integrate a destination-based weather guarantee directly into a vacation package.”
Here’s how it works: If rainfall exceeds a specified threshold for each trip, customers will receive a $500 payout and can choose how to receive it.
Once a Jamaica Flight + Hotel package is booked through JetBlue Vacations, travelers will receive a dashboard detailing overage details and the conditions that activate a WeatherPromise payout.
“WeatherPromise is designed to give customers greater confidence to travel and experience new places,” said WeatherPromise Co-Founder Daniel Price. “This collaboration allows us to bring that sense of reassurance to even more people as they visit one of the Caribbean’s truly iconic destinations.”
Jamaica Prime Minister Edmund Bartlett said, “The Great Weather Guarantee gives travelers added confidence to embrace all our island has to offer.”
He added, “We’re proud to help visitors create unforgettable memories across Jamaica through this collaboration.”
