Visit These Star Wars Filming Locations

Star Wars fans who love to explore have some epic places to add to their travel bucket-list.
As Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to hit movie theaters this weekend, fans of the Star Wars film franchise can celebrate by planning a vacation getaway to the places the movies were filmed.
Collette offers unique tours around the world, including to countries that were home to Star Wars movies.
For fans of the 2016 movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Myrdalssandur Beach, Iceland and London's Canary Wharf, London are two places in Europe to add to the travel list.
The black sand and rocky landscape at Myrdalssandur Beach in Iceland was used for the planet Eadu, and London’s Canary Wharf was the setting for a chase scene. The industrial-looking underground tube station closed overnight while filming took place.
Salar De Uyuni, Bolivia was featured as the awesome battle scene between the Resistance and the First Order in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It’s home to the world’s largest salt flats, stretching out over 4,000 square miles.
Skellig Island, Ireland was used at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and in much greater detail as planet Ahch-To, Luke Skywalker’s exiled home. Monks built a monastery there long ago that sits 600 feet above sea level.
Plaza de Espana in Seville, Spain was used as the backdrop to create an even bigger setting for scenes in Attack of the Clones and The Phantom Menace. Stunning architecture abounds here, with gorgeous views everyone will love, whether you’re a fan of Star Wars or not.
The forest in Redwood National and State Parks in California was the home of the forest moon of Endor. This is where fans saw the lovable Ewoks in the Return of the Jedi.
