Princess Cruises released its 2024-25 season of Panama Canal itineraries this week for booking, with 26 different departures across three ships and twelve countries.

The cruise line, which has been offering Panama Canal voyages since 1967, will have three ships sailing Panama Canal voyages during its upcoming season. Highlighted experiences include a visit to a sloth sanctuary and seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, like the historic fortified city of Cartagena, Colombia.

The 12-Day Panama Canal with Costa Rica and Caribbean is a new voyage sailing round-trip from Fort Lauderdale. Guests can enjoy a partial transit of the Panama Canal’s newer locks, a late night stop in Aruba, and an additional visit to either Bonaire or Curacao.

For travelers wanting a full transit through the historic Panama Canal locks, a 16-Day Ocean-to-Ocean itinerary is the perfect choice. Sailing between Los Angeles or San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale (or in the reverse), guests on these itineraries can enjoy a full in-depth exploration of the lock system in Fuerte Amador and a stop in Panama City.

“Three ships will transit the historic Panama Canal during our upcoming 2024-2025 season offering full transit sailings, ocean-to-ocean or roundtrip options from Ft. Lauderdale,” said John Padgett, Princess Cruises president. “We’re excited to bring Coral Princess back to the region, returning the ship to her roots where she was christened in the Panama Canal in 2003, by the then president of Panama, Mireya Moscoso.”
