Royal Caribbean International announced that its Icon of the Seas ship would boast an unmatched lineup of dining experiences designed for every type of passenger, starting in January 2024.

Icon of the Seas and its new and returning restaurants will sail seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean vacations from Miami year-round and visit destinations like The Bahamas, Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Cozumel, Mexico; and Roatan, Honduras.

“The experiences had over great food are at the heart of so many shared memories that we could all use more of in our day-to-day,” Royal Caribbean vice president Linken D’Souza said. “We’ve designed Icon of the Seas to offer every guest, no matter their tastes, age and mood or the occasion, a variety of ways they can easily make those moments their way every day while on vacation.”

Royal Caribbean is adding more elevated dining experiences, including a taste of New York at Empire Supper Club, a VIP experience at Celebration Table and returning favorites, like Central Park’s American steakhouse, Chops Grille and Trellis Bar.

For passengers grabbing a quick bite, travelers can enjoy an array of food day or night at AquaDome Market, Izumi in the Park, The Pearl Cafe, Basecamp, The Grove and returning favorites like Central Park’s Park Cafe, Chill Island and Royal Promenade.

In addition, Icon of the Seas will add family and kid-approved eats, such as the Surfside Eatery, Pier 7, Surfside Bites and several returning favorites, like Izumi, Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade and Sprinkles.

“If vacationers want to stick to their favorites, like kids and their chicken tenders, or mix it up every night and try new flavors, more than 20 experiences across Icon’s eight neighborhoods make that possible – without compromise – more than ever,” D’Souza continued.

The lineup of new and returning favorites join the recently announced bars and nightlife that will light up the massive ship, including spots for families like The Lemon Post in Surfside, with a menu for adults and another for kids and Dueling Pianos in Royal Promenade, the cruise line’s first dueling pianos bar.
