Virgin Hotels New York City celebrated its official opening with signature New York City flair on April 6, 2023, featuring an appearance by Sir Richard Branson
and a performance by Broadway star Colton Ryan.
Ryan, the lead in the hit Broadway musical New York, New York, sang the song with the same name prior to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was attended by Branson, Ryan, Virgin Hotels’ CEO
James Bermingham, General Manager Candice Cancino, hotel owners John Lam, Hung Luk and others. The ceremony was followed by a large party throughout the hotel’s common areas.
Virgin Hotels New York City is designed as a space for entertainment and socialization; it features a Sky Lounge with views of the surrounding city, rooms for meetings and events, an indoor-outdoor restaurant called Everdene and several different styles
of Chambers and Suites, including two-room options that allow for greater privacy and larger living spaces.
The pet-friendly hotel also puts an emphasis on its entertainment value, featuring events like brunch cabarets, parties hosted by
notable DJs, live music and holiday offerings throughout the year.
Virgin Hotels New York City is currently offering several ways to save on stays at the hotel, including the Stay Awhile promotion, which offers up to 30 percent savings when
you book a stay at the hotel for three days or more.
