Travel Weekly has published its annual Power List, revealing the world's top sellers of travel for 2026.
To qualify, companies must accrue global annual sales of at least $125 million, with no less than 15 percent generated within the U.S.
This summer, the list swelled to include as many as 72 agencies. What's more, more than one-third (27) reported more than $1 billion in sales in 2025 as investment in emerging AI continues to propel business to new heights.
Here's a closer look at this year's most powerful companies, with rankings based on each agency's 2025 sales figures.
10 Most Powerful Travel Agencies in 2026
1. Booking Holdings - $186.1 Billion
Booking Holdings continues to dominate the travel selling landscape with its popular consumer-facing brands such as Booking.com, Priceline, Agoda, Kayak and OpenTable. The travel giant achieved a whopping $186.1 billion in sales last year, a $20 billion jump from the previous year. Booking has been at the forefront of embracing AI, as evidenced by Priceline's new next-generation travel booking assistant, Penny.
2. Expedia Group - $119.6 Billion
Remaining in the number two spot for 2026 is Expedia Group, which saw sales figures climb from $110.92 billion in 2024 to $119.6 billion in 2025. The publicly traded OTA remains a force with established brands such as Expedia, Hotels.com, Orbitz, Travelocity, Vrbo, Trivago and Hotwire, among others.

3. American Express Global Business Travel - $36.3 Billion
There remains a significant drop-off from number two to three, with these spots separated by nearly $100 billion in annual sales. American Express Global Business Travel, which recently entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Long Lake Management for $6.3 billion, stays put at third on the Power List, with 2025 sales of a robust $36.3 billion.
4. BCD Travel - $24.4 Billion
A privately held B2B travel management company reaching more than 170 countries, BCD Travel checks in at number four on the Power List again in 2026, with 2025 sales reaching $24.4 billion. Looking ahead, BCD Travel has a bevy of big goals, including "expanding the footprint and capabilities of value-added solutions to improve the traveler experience, data-driven intelligence and open access to innovation."
