World Travel Holdings is the recipient of a strategic investment from Citation Capital, a private equity firm that specializes in partnering with founder‑ and family‑led businesses, to fuel the company’s growth going forward.
Co‑Founders and Co‑CEOs Jeff and Brad Tolkin will retain significant ownership and continue overseeing day‑to‑day operations, World Travel Holdings said.
World Holdings, a formidable North American travel distributor, owns such franchise brands as Dream Vacations and CruiseOne.
“This partnership marks an exciting new chapter for World Travel Holdings,” said Jeff Tolkin.
“Over more than two decades, we have built a platform that serves blue-chip partners, franchisees, and travelers through a combination of proprietary technology, deep supplier relationships, and differentiated distribution capabilities,” he added. “We believe Citation is the right partner to help us continue to scale.”
In Brad Tolkin's view, the Citation investment will enable World Travel Holdings to invest in its employees while also building on the company’s formidable business.
