WHY IT RATES: Air France will increase flights between Paris and New York in 2026, introducing additional daily flights and offering high-speed Wi-Fi access onboard. —Janeen Christoff, TravelPulse Managing Editor
This summer, Air France will offer up to 11 daily flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York, split between New York-JFK and Newark Liberty International airports.
- Paris-CDG – New York-JFK: up to 6 daily Air France flights – with 4 operated by Boeing 777-300ER equipped with La Première, complemented by 3 flights operated by Delta Air Lines, Air France’s partner within the transatlantic joint venture.
- Paris-CDG – Newark Liberty International Airport: up to 2 daily Air France flights.
On the Paris-CDG – Newark route, the schedule will be strengthened as of June 1, 2026, with up to two daily flights, compared with one previously. Flights will be operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft featuring the airline’s latest cabins, including the new Business class seat with a sliding door, also available on all flights to/from New York JFK. This second daily frequency will offer unprecedented flexibility for business travelers as well as leisure customers.
Aircraft operating flights to/from New York are gradually equipped with Air France’s complimentary high speed Wi-Fi, powered by Starlink. Air France is the first major European airline to offer such a service on board. It plans to offer this service throughout its fleet by the end of the year.
Flight schedules (in local times) to/from Newark:
- AF0062: departs Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 12:30pm, arrives Newark at 2:45pm the same day;
- AF0063: departs Newark at 5:05pm, arrives Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 6:10am the following day;
- AF0064: departs Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 7:45pm, arrives Newark at 10:00pm the same day;
- AF0065: departs Newark at 11:55pm, arrives Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 1:10pm the following day day
Special flights between New York-JFK and Nice in June
Once again this year, Air France will operate special flights between New York-JFK and Nice Côte d’Azur Airport for the Cannes Lions Festival.
Flight dates and schedules (local times):
- June 20 and 21, 2026: AF043 – departs New York-JFK at 4:30pm, arrives in Nice at 10:35am the following day;
- June 25 and 26, 2026: AF042 – departs Nice at 12:00pm, arrives in New York-JFK at 3:00pm the same day
Flights will be operated by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
The New York-JFK – Nice route is also operated daily by Delta Air Lines, Air France’s partner, and marketed under a codeshare agreement.
As a long-standing partner of the Cannes Festival, Air France will also operate special flights between Los Angeles and Nice in June.
