The long-running satirical sketch show, Saturday Night Live, gave its usual treatment to Alaska Airlines.
The show satirized the carrier and even came up with a new slogan for the airline in the wake of its January 5 incident in which a cabin door was blown off a plane midflight.
The show joked:
“Here at Alaska, safety is our number one concern,” host Jacob Elordi, posing as an airline flight attendant, assured viewers.
SNL stalwart Kenan Thompson added: “Buuut you gotta admit, it looked pretty cool. Plane flying around. No door.”
Elordi then said: “Everyone screaming, cell phones whipping out in the sky…it was awesome.”
