American Airlines is expanding its domestic reach with new year-round and seasonal service out of Chicago and Los Angeles in April, May and December.
The new service will be available for booking on January 26.
The carrier is set to launch twice-daily, year-round service from Chicago to Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Columbia, South Carolina, on May 21, and daily service to Kahului, Hawaii, from December 17 to March 2027.
Beginning on April 7, American is slated to debut daily, year-round flights from Los Angeles to Cleveland, Ohio, and Washington, DC.
“Air travel is about more than just flying from one place to another; it’s a symphony of travelers eagerly looking forward to seeing friends and family, crossing off bucket-list vacations and making a difference with face-to-face business meetings,” said Brian Znotins, American’s senior vice president of network and schedule planning.
“American’s new routes from Chicago and Los Angeles are just another way the airline is catering to all kinds of travelers with unmatched connectivity across the United States,” he added.
In December, American announced plans to add 100 daily flights from Chicago, including popular spring break destinations.
