Avelo Airlines ranked number one for on-time performance in October 2024, with 90.5 percent of its flights reaching their destinations within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time.
The strong month capped off an impressive 10-month stretch for the ultra-low-cost carrier, which boasts the lowest flight cancellation rate through the first 10 months of 2024, based on figures from leading third-party aviation data services company, Anuvu.
Delta Air Lines and United Airlines rounded out the top three spots for October 2024, posting on-time performances of 89.6 percent and 87.0 percent, respectively.
Avelo's industry-leading on-time performance of 85.1 percent to this point in 2024 is significantly higher than the industry average of 77 percent.
