Low-cost carrier and relative aviation newcomer Breeze Airways is gearing up to introduce new service this summer, flying out of Manchester, New Hampshire. It will signify the airline’s first airport operations in the state and the 51st city in its overall network.

The upcoming routes, which are slated to commence in June, will see nonstop flights from Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) to Charleston, South Carolina; and Fort Myers and Orlando, Florida. Breeze shared with Travel + Leisure that each of these new routes will run twice per week.

Breeze Airways’ President, Tom Doxey, expressed optimism about the airline's foray into the Granite State, pointing to favorable response Breeze's services have received in neighboring states.

"Breeze has grown rapidly in New England with Providence and Hartford as our two fastest-growing bases," said Doxey. "We have great faith that our affordable, convenient, and nice service from New Hampshire [to] Florida and South Carolina will be just as popular."

New nonstop flights from Manchester to Charleston and Orlando will operate on Mondays and Fridays starting June 14. Later, flights from Manchester to Fort Myers, operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays, will commence on October 2.

Also this autumn, Breeze plans to expand its offerings from Manchester by introducing one-stop service to Tampa on Thursdays and Sundays, starting September 5. Passengers aboard these flights won’t even need to switch planes.

To commemorate the launch of these fresh routes, Breeze is rolling out discounted fares to make travel even more accessible for passengers. Customers can now book one-way flights from Manchester to Charleston for as low as $69, to Orlando for as little as $89 and to Fort Myers from just $99. To avail themselves of these special fares, travelers will need to book by March 4 at 11:59 p.m. PT, with travel valid through January 7, 2025.

Flights on these routes will be operated using Airbus A220-300 aircraft, known for their eco-friendliness, comfort and efficiency. Breeze recently announced its commitment to transitioning to an all-Airbus A220 fleet for its scheduled service by the end of 2024. It already has 22 of these models in its arsenal and hopes to increase that number to 32 by year’s end.

Founded in 2021 by former JetBlue founder and current Breeze Airways CEO David Neeleman, the low-cost carrier has rapidly expanded its presence, now serving 51 cities across 27 states.

Breeze is currently confined to the U.S., but has plans to expand into international markets, having sought permission from the Federal Aviation Administration to begin flying transatlantic routes.
