Frontier Airlines is expanding its current distribution deal with travel platform Amadeus.
The new enhanced partnership will give customers access to better flight deals and a more seamless booking experience.
The expanded agreement also marks the first time Frontier will offer New Distribution Capability (NDC) to travel sellers through a global distribution system.
“Our leading NDC technology enables new opportunities for Frontier, including enhanced ancillary services and personalized offers, which are all crucial for enhancing the customer experience and maximizing revenue,” said Rajiv Rajian, the executive vice president and chief commercial officer, Americas of Amadeus. Features like seat assignments and easy ways to change itineraries are also part of the expanded agreement.
For Frontier, the enhancement is part of an ongoing transformation that seeks to improve its customer experience and grow its premium offerings.
“Our ongoing transformation underscores a commitment to providing exceptional value and a superior travel experience for our passengers,” added Bobby Schroeter, the airline’s chief commercial officer.
“The New Frontier means more value for our travelers’ money. Distribution of our NDC-based content through the Amadeus Travel Platform is a vital component of this change, modernizing our distribution capabilities so we can offer a seamless, personalized booking experience.”
