This summer, JetBlue will expand some of its most popular routes at one of its busiest airport bases.
The budget carrier just announced it will be adding more flights on four in-demand routes at its focus gateway at Florida's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).
The routes include a mix of regional flights and international service, which will all see additional flight frequencies and expanded schedules starting in June.
First up on June 11, JetBlue will expand its flights from FLL to Cartagena, Colombia, from four flights per week to daily, year-round service.
Also getting new daily, year-round flights will be the carrier’s route to Jacksonville, Florida, which previously only operated limited seasonal flights during the spring break period. That route will begin its expanded schedule on June 18.
The airline will also double the amount of flight frequencies on its routes from FLL to Dallas-Forth Worth and Tampa, Florida, launching twice-daily, year-round service to both airports on June 18. Previously, JetBlue operated daily service across the two regional routes.
“These additions reflect the strength of demand we’re seeing in Fort Lauderdale and our continued commitment to building depth in our South Florida focus city,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president, revenue, network and enterprise planning, JetBlue. “We’re proud to continue investing in Fort Lauderdale with more year-round flying and added frequencies, ensuring it remains one of the strongest and most connected cities in our network.”
The four expanded routes are part of a larger push from JetBlue to expand its offerings in Fort Lauderdale over the last year. During that time, the carrier has added 20 new destinations from FLL. Last year, JetBlue also added additional aircraft outfitted with Mint business class cabins to the focus city, and in December 2025, it operated its largest-ever schedule at Fort Lauderdale, with 113 daily departures to 46 nonstop destinations.
