Air travelers can party like its the 1990s.
Southwest Airlines is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the beloved TV show FRIENDS with a 30 percent discount on flights booked by Thursday, September 26.
This week, travelers booking with the low-cost carrier can use promo code FRIENDS to score 30 percent off base fares for travel between October 24, 2024, and January 31, 2025.
The offer expires at midnight PT on September 26.
Additionally, Southwest passengers can access a special "Celebrating 30 Years of FRIENDS On Demand Channel" on the carrier's in-flight entertainment portal this fall, allowing them to enjoy new episodes for free, including "The One With Rachel’s Other Sister" and "The One With The Late Thanksgiving."
"This FRIENDS-themed fare sale is for everyone—whether you’re ‘on a break’ and flying solo or have a special ‘lobster’ you’re flying with and want to book another getaway,” Jennifer Bridie, Vice President of Marketing at Southwest Airlines, said in a statement.
"Our flexible policies, such as no change or cancel fees, allow our customers to ‘pivot’ their plans, and we’ll be ‘there for you’ to help you book your next trip...The One Where You Fly Southwest.”
The hit show premiered on September 22, 1994, and ran for 10 seasons.
