This month, travelers can access a free award flight with Frontier Airlines, thanks to the low-cost carrier’s latest loyalty matching offer.
Now through February 22, travelers can show unused frequent flier miles or points from other carriers and receive the matching amount from Frontier up to 5,000 miles, which the carrier says is enough to redeem one award flight.
The Denver-based low-cost carrier is giving away up to 70 million miles to travelers who participate in the promotion.
In order to receive their free miles, passengers can fill out an online form on Frontier’s website. The form asks for information like the traveler’s Frontier Miles account number, as well as the name of the other airline’s loyalty program, the amount of points in the account, and a screenshot showing the account’s point balance.
According to Frontier’s redemption tiers, 5,000 miles should be enough to redeem a one-way award flight within the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The low-cost airline flies to domestic vacation spots such as Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, Florida, as well as Orange County, California, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Plus, travelers don’t even need to have 5,000 miles in their other carrier’s account to take advantage of the offer. Fliers whose third-party airline accounts show less than 1,000 points or miles will receive 1,000 Frontier miles; travelers who show an amount between 1,000 and 5,000 will receive a one-to-one match; and passengers who show 5,000 or more miles will receive a maximum of 5,000 miles from Frontier.
Travelers who submit to the giveaway should see the free miles in their Frontier account within five business days.
