Flying can be scary for some travelers, but nothing quite compares to flying with tornadoes swirling behind you.
According to RT.com, at least 12 waterspout tornadoes were spotted off the coast of Sochi, a Russian city on the Black Sea, as the plane was preparing to land at Sochi International Airport.

A passenger onboard one of the planes flying through the waterspouts shared an image on Instagram taken from the window of the aircraft. The image shows the storm and its effects on the flight.

In total, nine flights were delayed due to the unfavorable weather conditions and several other planes were diverted to nearby cities Anapa and Krasnodar.
This isn't the first time waterspouts were spotted near the Russian city. Last week, two tornadoes were reported in the Black Sea.
