Hertz Global Holdings announced Wednesday that the company has signed a three-way and exclusive partnership agreement with Hertz Mexico and Aeromexico, Mexico's leading airline.
Passengers who fly with Aeromexico will now be able to book rental cars at the best available rates through the Hertz and Firefly brands in Mexico, as well as the Hertz, Dollar, Thrifty and Firefly brands at any of the airline's other destinations.
"Like us, Aeromexico is constantly innovating to offer its customers enhanced convenience and high quality service," Hertz executive vice president Robert Stuart said in a statement.
"We are honored that Mexico's leading airline selected Hertz as their exclusive, global car rental provider to offer passengers a wide selection of Hertz, Dollar, Thrifty and Firefly vehicles at the best available rates. With Aeromexico.com now featuring a new car rental booking engine, travelers can easily book their flights and car rental in just a few clicks."
Rentals can be made through Aeromexico's official website and call center.
"It is an honor to partner with Mexico's flagship carrier to make our Hertz and Firefly fleets and services easily available to both domestic travelers and international visitors who fly with Aeromexico," Hertz Mexico CEO Moises Behar said in a statement. "In addition, as part of our marketing co-operation with Aeromexico we will periodically offer special promotions and exclusive car rental benefits to the airline's passengers."

To qualify for the special rates at Hertz and Firefly locations in Mexico, customers must present an Aeromexico boarding pass at car rental desks in airports across the country.
In addition, Hertz Mexico will display Aeromexico branding and customer offers at all of the company's airport locations and on its website.
Aeromexico serves more than 20 million passengers per year and reaches 84 destinations in Mexico; North, South and Central America; the Caribbean; Europe; and Asia.
