Fall is a great time for people of any age to travel, and the AARP is working with Avis Budget Group, Inc. to offer its members 50 and older discounted rates and special offers on vehicle rentals.
Not only is Avis giving AARP members advice on the benefits of traveling during the fall season, including cooler temperatures, lower prices, the less-congested roadways and the smaller crowds at popular attractions, but the company is also offering customers deals on rentals during this period.
AARP members who use Avis Car Rental, Budget Car Rental or Payless Car Rental during the fall will be offered exclusive discounted rates and offers. The new program also affords older travelers the chance to save on their annual membership fee with Zipcar.
Avis Budget Group Senior Vice President of Sales Beth Kinerk released a statement about older travelers taking trips during the fall months:
"For many people, traveling after Labor Day is the ideal time to get away and enjoy milder weather and lower prices on travel. As the exclusive car rental provider for AARP members, Avis Budget Group provides access to convenient and affordable transportation so that AARP members can stretch their travel budget even further to make lasting memories."
Travelers looking to take advantage of the discounts offered to AARP members will be offered quality vehicles from a variety of manufacturers, including BMW, Ford, General Motors, Hyundai, Nissan, Toyota and many others. The customer service is also a major strength for all of the Avis Budget Group's subsidiary companies.
