American Cruise Lines will soon be adding a second ship to its revolutionary Modern Riverboat Series.
Scheduled to debut in 2019, American Harmony will take over on the Mississippi for the American Song, which will reposition to the Columbia and Snake Rivers later that same year.
The cruise line began construction on the American Harmony ship earlier this year, which will be the sister-ship to the state-of-the-art American Song. The American Song will make its inaugural cruise October 6 on the Mississippi River.
American Cruise Lines also announced the America, one of its paddlewheeler ships officially started its 2018 Mississippi River season, departing from New Orleans.
By October, the cruise line will have three new ships sailing the Mississippi, including two authentic paddlewheelers and the first Modern Riverboat in United States history.
With the largest fleet in the country, three distinct ship styles and two Modern Riverboats cruising along America's two most popular rivers, American Cruise Lines is strengthening its position as a leader in U.S. cruising.
