American Cruise Lines has been recognized once again by the world's largest cruise community. For a second year in a row, American Cruise Lines is honored to win Cruise Critic's 2017 Editors' Picks Award in the River category for Best for Solo Travelers.
More than five million people-from first-time cruisers to avid cruise fans-visit Cruise Critic each month to research and plan their cruises, connect with other cruisers and share their passion for cruising.
According to Cruise Critic's editors, "more Lines are cutting single supplements and adding solo cabins. But only American Cruise Lines offers single occupancy cabins with balconies-huge, at 230 square feet-on its newest river ships."
And with American Cruise Lines Modern Riverboat, American Song, debuting in 2018, that figure "will boost to 250 square feet."
In addition to this honor, American Cruise Lines has won multiple prestigious travel industry awards in 2017, including 2017 Condé Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Award; 2017 North America's Leading River Cruise Company by the World Travel Awards; and Travel Weekly's 2017 Gold & Silver Magellan Awards for Best Overall River Cruise Ship (gold), Best Overall Small Cruise Ship (silver) and Best Overall River Cruising (silver).
