James A. Rodriguez, the president and chief executive officer of Atlas Ocean Voyages, will step down at the end of this year.
Rodriguez has been in the position for two years and is leaving to pursue other opportunities, according to an announcement from the company.
The cruise line is starting the search for a new president and plans to hire someone for the role by the end of 2024.
In the meantime, the company remains committed to its key initiatives. Atlas Ocean Voyages is focused on building a strong South Florida-based team, competing in the polar expedition cruise market, redefining expeditions beyond polar and strengthening relationships with travel advisors and consumers.
