Prime Day—Amazon’s annual, mid-year sale for Prime members—usually attracts deal-seekers looking to score big discounts on home goods, kitchen gadgets, clothing and other physical items.
But, this year, for the first time, Prime Day includes travel deals, including Carnival Cruise Line sailings.

The cruise line is offering savings of up to 40 percent off fares, plus up to $50 in onboard credits, up to 50 percent off deposits and free room upgrades for Prime Day. The deals kicked off July 16 and remain in effect through the end of today.
A quick scan of Carnival’s offerings shows a 3-day voyage to the Bahamas from Miami starting at just $294 per person, as well as a 4-day cruise to Baja Mexico from Long Beach starting at just $344 per person
Other travel brands participating in Prime Day include Viator, Avis, Southwest Airlines, Turo and Sixt.
