Cunard has announced a Fourth of July sale on bookings made now through July 6, 2018.
The promotion offers free balcony upgrades and complimentary gratuities. Guests in Princess Grill and Queens Grill Suites will receive complimentary drinks. Additionally, bookings can be made with only a $100 non-refundable deposit.
The Fourth of July sale applies to 2018 and 2019 itineraries on the flagship ocean liner Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth.
Available sailings include seven-night Canada and New England voyages with fares from $999. Fares for ten-night Alaska voyages start at $1,599. And, 12 and 13-night Eastern Caribbean voyages start at $1,699.
The Fourth of July sale also applies to Cunard’s seven-night 2019 Independence Day Celebration. The round-trip New York voyage departs on June 30, 2019. It calls on Halifax, Nova Scotia and includes a holiday celebration in Boston. The ship then visits Newport, Rhode Island before returning to New York.
The Queen Mary 2 underwent a significant $132M remastering in 2016. It included refurbishment of all staterooms and suites, as well as accompanying restaurants. Fifteen single staterooms were added, as were 30 Britannia Club Balcony staterooms.
Queen Elizabeth is set for a refurbishment in November 2018. The line will introduce another vessel in 2022.
