Cunard will welcome internationally renowned jazz artists Jools Holland and Jamie Cullum to Queen Victoria in 2025.
The two musicians are both set to perform onboard the ship this year.
Cullum will join a 13-night sailing aboard the 2,000-guest vessel that departs from Southampton on April 21. The round trip Atlantic Islands voyage includes stops in Madeira, Tenerife, La Palma, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Cadiz.
“It's been many years since I performed on a cruise ship—it's a time that holds many great memories,” says Cullum. “There's something unique about the whole experience, playing music whilst at sea. My band and I promise everyone a fantastic night.”
Next up, Holland will dazzle guests sailing on Queen Victoria during an 8-night voyage departing May 4. After departing from Southampton, the ship will explore Spain and Italy before the trip concludes in Civitavecchia on May 12.
Holland will perform two shows in the ship's Royal Court Theatre during the voyage, which includes stops in Cadiz, Malaga and Majorca.
“Playing on a luxury cruise ship is a new experience for me and one that I'm sure will be a lot of fun,” says Holland. “I want my shows to be uplifting events and I hope guests on board leave the theatre with a renewed love of jazz music.”
Cunard regularly collaborates with top musicians, such as Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, who headlined Queen Anne's naming ceremony in Liverpool in June.
“At Cunard, we take pride in curating unique and unforgettable experiences for our guests, and we can't wait to welcome the extraordinary Jools Holland and Jamie Cullum aboard Queen Victoria in 2025,” says Katie McAlister, president of Cunard. “Their incredible talent, showcased in the elegant surroundings of the Royal Court Theatre, will make these sailings truly unforgettable.”
