Explora Journeys provided more information on its next ship, the EXPLORA III, which is expected to set sail in the summer of 2026.
EXPLORA III will sail Western Europe in summer 2026, sailing to destinations in the Netherlands, Norway, Estonia, Sweden, Germany, Iceland and Greenland. The ship will arrive in Quebec City on September 27 ahead of its inaugural North America sailing along the East Coast before heading down to Miami on October 25 to start its winter season in the Caribbean.
It's the third ship in a planned 6-ship fleet. Explora Journeys recently celebrated the launch of the EXPLORA II back in September.
The ship, which is being constructed as the first LNG-powered ship in the fleet and will be able to utilize shore power while in port, will offer 463 suites, penthouses and residences for luxury travelers. EXPLORA III is slightly larger than her sister ships.
In fact, the ship will offer more spacious rooms than the others, too. Ocean Penthouses comprise 24 percent of the rooms onboard.
Dining will feature favorites such as Anthology, Sakura, Fil Rouge, Med Yacht Club and the Emporium Marketplace, but new dining options will also debut on the ship, to be announced at a later date.
The line's Ocean Wellness program will again be offered onboard, complete with a serene spa, fitness center and studio. A new enhancement is an open-air fitness area, larger sports court and longer running track.
Families with children and teens will enjoy dedicated spaces and programs for children of all ages, with kids clubs for 3-5-year-old children, and children aged 6-17-years old. Those with infants can enjoy supervised care for their little ones while they enjoy some time to themselves.
