Starting with Holland
America Line's ship The Eurodam in February and The Rotterdam, The Zuiderdam
and The Nieuw Statendam in late June, the cruise line is adding four new mainstage experiences to
its lineup, which includes "Song & Dance," "Class Act," "All That!" and "Hey, Mr. DJ."
Besides the new mainstage
experiences, Holland America Line is also adding "The Rolling Stone Lounge" to a number of its ships, in addition to the current
lineup that hosts it, which currently includes The Noordam, The Oosterdam, The
Zuiderdam, The Westerdam, The Eurodam, and The Nieuw Amsterdam.
Certain European voyages,
as well as Grand and Legendary Voyages, will include classical music
performances.
“Over the past several
years we’ve built one of the strongest entertainment experiences at sea,
working with world-class musicians and dancers,” said Bill Prince, vice
president of entertainment and enrichment.
Holland America is also
offering "B.B. King’s Blues Club"
on The Koningsdam, The Nieuw Statendam, and The Rotterdam, as well as "Billboard Onboard,"
which is available on The Eurodam, The Koningsdam, The Nieuw Amsterdam, The
Nieuw Statendam, The Noordam, The Oosterdam, The Rotterdam, The Westerdam and
the Zuiderdam
Different Programs for Different Regions
Caribbean cruises on The
Rotterdam, The Nieuw Statendam, and The Eurodam will feature steel drum
concerts and unique covers of various songs as part of its "Island
Magic" concert.
Cruises to Canada and New
England on The Volendam and The Zuiderdam will include the new Nova
Scotia-themed show "Breton Thunder." Voyages to Europe on The
Nieuw Statendam, The Rotterdam, and The Zuiderdam will feature classical string
music performances by The Chordial Chamber Trio and Pantheon.
Journeys to Alaska will
feature music and dance performances from the "Step One Dance Company"and "Major Fourth," as well as "Destination:
Alaska," which will excite travelers for their cruises and excursions.
