Holland
America Line is offering travelers a unique opportunity to experience a
taste of its renowned Grand Voyages by booking segments of its 2025
Grand World Voyage or 2025
Grand Voyage: Pole to Pole. These abbreviated segments, available for as
little as $169 per day, allow guests to enjoy the grandeur and luxury of a
world-class voyage without committing to the entire four-month journey.
The 2025 Grand
Voyage: Pole to Pole, sailing aboard the Volendam, offers seven segmentary itineraries
that range from 20 to 100 days in duration, allowing guests to choose the
experience that best fits their schedule and interests. On the 2025 Grand World
Voyage aboard the Zuiderdam, cruisegoers can select from six available
segments, ranging from 20 to 55 days long. These segments are designed to
provide flexibility while still offering the enriching and immersive
experiences that Holland America Line is known for.
"Our Grand
Voyages are something our dedicated guests come back for every year while also
attracting new guests who are eager to explore the world, but at over four
months we recognize that not everyone has that time," said Paul
Grigsby, vice president of deployment and itinerary planning for Holland
America Line. "By booking one of our 2025 Grand Voyage segments, cruisers
can get a taste of the special atmosphere and community aboard these sailings
at an incredible value."
Grand Voyage
segments sail between two key ports along each of the larger routes, so that
the experience of hopping onboard the ship at various global locations is a
smooth one.
On the Grand World
Voyage, guests can join the ship and sail from Fort Lauderdale to Singapore or
Sydney; Singapore to Athens; Cape Town to Fort Lauderdale; Sydney to Cape Town;
or Athens to Fort Lauderdale.
The Grand Voyage:
Pole to Pole segments go from Fort Lauderdale to Buenos Aires;
Buenos Aires to Barcelona; Amsterdam to Fort Lauderdale; Fort Lauderdale to
Amsterdam; and Amsterdam or Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale.
Guests on both the
full and segmented Grand Voyages itineraries will have access to Holland
America Line’s signature onboard experiences. This includes a comprehensive
entertainment and enrichment program—which features 15 new production shows
debuting in 2025—performances by comedians, headline entertainers and local
musicians. Additionally, guests will enjoy region-specific cuisine prepared by
guest chefs who will host live cooking demonstrations and special dining
events.
A highlight of the
Grand Voyages will be the historic rendezvous of Zuiderdam and Volendam in
Barcelona on April 24, 2025. This event will be celebrated with Catalan-themed
gala dinners, a shipboard party and a spectacular drone show. Guests on both
ships will have opportunities to meet and enjoy this unique event together.
