Holland America Line’s Denali Lodge property is receiving a $70-million-dollar, multi-year investment into the property to improve the cruise line’s cruisetour experience, expected to be completed by the 2027 cruisetour season.
The project will offer more opportunities for guests to stay at the property and explore Denali National Park. Accommodations have been renovated, and public spaces have a fresh new look. Culinary options have improved and expanded, with emphasis on regional food.
The latest enhancements ahead of Holland America’s 80th anniversary sailing in Alaska next year include two new guest buildings, a redesigned Main Lodge interior and a renovated coffee shop.
Holland’s cruisetour experience in 2027 will offer 19 cruisetour options from May through September, ranging from 9-night to 17-night trips. They combine cruises ranging from three nights to seven nights with overland journeys to Denali National Park and Canada’s Yukon Territory.
Every cruisetour includes at least one night at the Holland America Denali Lodge.
New culinary offerings include a grab-and-go option for both food and coffee, an Alaskan-inspired dining concept called Karstens Public House and the seafood-centric Canyon Ridge Grill.
Guests can save more by booking their Alaska cruisetours early with the Have It All Early Booking Bonus, which includes prepaid crew appreciation, a free Wi-Fi upgrade, a free beverage package upgrade, specialty dining and up to $300 in shore excursion credit.
Those booking cruisetours can also add the “Cruisetour Dining Package,” which is free with the early booking bonus. Guests with this add-on will enjoy select meals at Holland America’s cruisetour properties, included in the initial cost of their cruisetour.
