In a heartfelt celebration of our heroes, Margaritaville at Sea is extending an early Veterans Day offer with the introduction of its Heroes Paradise Pass 2024.
This special season pass will entitle such everyday heroes as military members, police, first responders, teachers and as others to take unlimited cruise vacations during the 2024 sailing season, all at a remarkable price of less than $300.
The newly unveiled Heroes Paradise Pass is a way for Margaritaville at Sea to express gratitude to those who have dedicated their lives to serving the community.
Individuals who qualify to take advantage of this promotion include active and former military members, law enforcement, firefighters, EMS personnel, educators and government healthcare workers.
Margaritaville at Sea will host eligible individuals, plus one guest, aboard limitless 3-day/two-night voyages to the enchanting Bahamas—which is where the line’s single ship, the luxurious Margaritaville at Sea Paradise cruise liner, currently sails out of the port of Palm Beach.
“The Heroes Pass is another way to show our gratitude to the hardest-working people out there, tirelessly supporting our communities,” Christopher Ivy, the CEO of Margaritaville at Sea, said in a statement issued to Travel + Leisure.
“In our first two years, we’ve launched the unprecedented Heroes Sail Free program, as well as the cruise industry’s first season pass. We’re excited to add the Heroes Pass as a way for our heroes to relax with a quick escape to the Bahamas, as often as they want.”
Of course, there are some limitations that need to be noted. The offer applies only to non-consecutive sailings and, when using the Heroes Pass, guests are only allowed to book their cruises last-minute, between 72 and 24 hours in advance of the departure time. Rather than hand-selecting their onboard accommodations, passengers using the Heroes Pass will be assigned the best available inside or oceanview stateroom when they check in at the cruise terminal.

In addition, the pass does not cover taxes, fees, port expenses, gratuities, fuel surcharges or onboard expenses. And, on top of the cost of the pass itself, passholders will also be required to pay booking fees, charged per stateroom, per sailing, in the amount of $19.99 for remaining 2023 voyages; $29.99 for 2024’s Sunday through Wednesday departures; and $49.99 for Thursday through Saturday departures in 2024.
You will, however, enjoy some benefits created just for passholders, like exclusive previews, invitations and events, a free Express Pass on your first Heroes Paradise Pass sailing; a 10 percent discount on packages and excursions booked onboard; and a 10 percent discount on retail purchases, excluding food, beverage, casino and spa services. Also take note of the deal’s other terms, conditions and restrictions, including applicable blackout dates, including November 23, 2023; December 31, 2023; May 25, 2024; August 30, 2024; and December 31, 2024.
This special initiative follows the success of the company's "Ultimate Paradise Pass", the cruise industry’s first season pass program, which launched this spring, providing passholders with opportunities to take an unlimited number of non-consecutive, two-night cruises for a lump-sum fee of $999.
If you qualify for the Heroes Paradise Pass and plan on snagging one, you’ll need to do so pretty promptly, as this offer is available for a limited time only. And, when you lock yours in now, you’ll enjoy the added bonus of two extra months of limitless sailings, as these passes are valid from November 3, 2023.
