MSC Cruises plans to debut five new bar and lounge concepts on its newest flagship, MSC World Asia.

The third ship in MSC Cruises’ World Class series, MSC World Asia will debut in the Mediterranean on December 4, 2026. The ship will operate seven-night cruises calling at Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia for Rome, Messina and Valletta.

The ship’s design incorporates elements inspired by Asian culture, art and landscapes, including in several of its food and beverage venues. The new concepts are intended to complement returning favorites from MSC World Europa, the first ship in the World Class series.

Among the new venues is the Clubhouse and Soda Bar, a family-oriented space inspired by the 1980s and 1990s. During the day, guests can play MSC Cruises-themed games and interactive challenges, while the venue also includes a LEGO area and The Court, which features bumper cars and other activities. The Soda Bar will allow guests to create their own nonalcoholic drinks using soda bases, flavored syrups, cream and toppings. At night, the space will shift toward cocktails and mocktails.

The new Sky Box Bar, located within the Luna Park Arena, will focus on premium drinks and cocktails. Its menu will draw inspiration from early 20th-century Futurism, while bartenders will perform mixology demonstrations as they prepare drinks. The venue is designed for pre-show drinks as well as late-night cocktails.

The Terraces Bar & Lounge will take its cues from the Italian aperitivo, with panoramic ocean views and a menu of cocktails, spritzes, wine and prosecco. Traditional snacks such as focaccia and olives will accompany drinks, while live music and wine tastings will add to the experience.

At the Coral Cove Pool, the new Coral Cove Bar will offer poolside drinks in a space inspired by Philippine coral reefs.

Another new venue, the Pan Asian Bar, will overlook the ship’s Promenade and form part of a new Pan Asian Street Food restaurant concept. Its menu will include drinks such as Jasmine Mojitos, Rose and Strawberry Daiquiris and Matcha Coladas, along with beers from across Asia and a beer brewed at sea with Asian-inspired flavors.

Several popular venues from MSC World Europa will also return aboard MSC World Asia, including the Coffee Emporium, Fizz - Champagne Bar, All-Stars Sports Bar and Masters of the Sea, the line’s onboard brewery concept. Overall, the ship will have a total of 40 venues for drinks, socializing and entertainment.
