National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions is launching its longest cruise ever, a 69-day exploration of Greenland, Japan and Alaska.
The “Epic Northwest Passage: From Iceland to Japan” itinerary departs from Iceland and follows the path of Erik the Red. Traveling through the famed Northwest Passage, the cruise will then take travelers from Greenland to Alaska, with stops at the Aleutian Islands.
The journey continues through the Pacific’s “Ring of Fire” before ending in Japan.
The new cruise will depart July 14, 2026, and end September 22, 2026. It will be offered onboard the National Geographic Resolution, with rates starting at $108,285 per person.
The long journey is a combination of several 2026 itineraries, including the 19-day “Alaska to Japan: Ring of Fire to Ainu Culture” voyage, the 16-day “Coastal Japan: Imperial Dynasties and Modern Culture” cruise and more.
