For travel agents looking to help clients purchase a unique 2018 adventure, Norwegian Cruise Line has got you covered.
The cruise line announced the Norwegian Sun will offer travelers the chance to explore the Caribbean for a limited season this fall on seven, nine and 13-day cruises. The voyages will include stops in Havana and some of the most popular Caribbean destinations.
From September 9 through October 14, the Norwegian Sun will sail six seven-day cruises from Miami with stops at ports in Havana; Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas; Costa Maya, Mexico; and Harvest Caye, Belize.
For the ship's nine-day cruises, the itineraries will expand the seven-day sailings to also include Roatan, Honduras; and Cozumel, Mexico.
"We are thrilled to reveal Norwegian Sun's new fall 2018 itineraries, which will be the first time our brand has featured a call in Havana, Cuba on seven-day and longer cruises," Norwegian chief executive officer Andy Stuart said in a statement. "These new itineraries offer a remarkable breadth of experiences for guests with a culturally immersive full day and evening in Havana, complemented by several visits to world-class destinations across the Caribbean and beyond."
Travelers looking for a longer cruise vacation will enjoy the new 13-day voyage departing from Miami on October 30, highlighted by a visit to the Panama Canal. The ship will make stops at eight destinations, including Puerto Limon, Costa Rica; Cartagena and Santa Marta, Colombia; Oranjestad, Aruba; Havana, Cuba; and more.
In addition, Norwegian announced a new five-day cruise to Cuba and the Bahamas from Port Canaveral September 3. While in Cuba, passengers will have the opportunity to visit Old Havana and other historical sites.
