As part of its Norwegian Edge enhancement program, Norwegian Cruise Line has recently refurbished the Norwegian Pearl after a two-week dry-dock procedure. A perennial favorite for hosting theme cruises, the Pearl has been modernized with upgrades to every stateroom and several public venues.
"Norwegian Pearl is one of our most beloved ships. With this dry dock we wanted to provide her with a refreshed, clean and modern onboard atmosphere while maintaining the ship's overall charm and flexibility that our guests enjoy so much," said Andy Stuart, Norwegian Cruise Line president and chief executive officer, in a press release. "Through the Norwegian Edge program we are continuing to heavily invest in our fleet to ensure that guests have a consistent experience across all Norwegian ships and the freedom to create their ideal cruise vacation."

Publicly among the specialty restaurants, Cagney's Steakhouse received updated carpet, upholstery and window treatments, and Moderno Churrascaria got new tables and chairs, wall laminates, granite bar tops and a glass entryway. Meanwhile, the complimentary O'Sheehan's Bar & Grill has also been modernized with new flooring, its own granite bar tops, shelving, fixtures, finishes, tables and chairs, including bonus banquettes.
