Putting its own spin on music theme cruises, Seabourn will host two jazz legends onboard a pair of luxury sailings in the fall.
Arturo Sandoval and John Pizzarelli are set to entertain guests on the Seabourn Quest and Seabourn Sojourn, respectively.
"Seabourn promises the finest cruises with luxurious onboard amenities, carefully crafted itineraries, and experiences created for our guests to remember," said Richard Meadows, president of Seabourn, in a press release. "Having these two renowned jazz musicians on board, playing in front of such an intimate crowd, is sure to make for two very memorable cruises."
Sandoval is a multi-award winning trumpeter, pianist and composer viewed on the Oscars, the Grammy Awards and the Billboard Awards. He has won 10 Grammys(19 nominations), six Billboards and one Emmy.
Seabourn quoted the Boston Globe in the release as praising jazz guitarist and singer Pizzarelli for, "reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz," as well as The Seattle Times as calling him, "a rare entertainer of the old school."
The scheduled jazz music continues the line's enhanced programming, namely Seabourn Conversations, of which it is a part, and Ventures by Seabourn. The former is the brand's onboard enrichment program featuring enlightening speakers, while the latter is the off-board excursion program highlighting special tour expeditions.

Sandoval will be aboard for an extended 24-day Caribbean & Brazilian Exploration itinerary departing on November 5 on Seabourn Quest. The ship will go from Miami, Florida to Buenos Aires, Argentina, calling on Great Harbour, Jost van Dyke, BVI; Gustavia, Saint Barthelemy; Terre-de-Haut, Iles des Saintes, Guadeloupe and Bridgetown, Barbados; as well as Vitoria, Armacao dos Buzios, Brazil; and Montevideo, Uruguay. A two day stop will also be made in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Meanwhile, Pizzarelli will board the Seabourn Sojourn for an 18-day Panama Canal Sojourn itinerary leaving on November 15. Heading from Los Angeles, California to Miami, Florida, the ship will visit Huatulco and Puerto Chiapas, Mexico; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Puntarenas (Puerto Caldera), Costa Rica and Cartagena, Colombia. A total of nine sea days are also featured in addition to transit through the Panama Canal itself.
