Seabourn is giving guests a chance to perfect their photography skills while sailing to some of the world’s most remote places.
“Image Masters” is a new, hands-on program that includes exclusive lectures, mentorship, lab hours and workshops to help travelers capture beautiful images while on vacation. An accomplished nature photographer will be onboard to offer advice on everything from editing to camera technique.
The initiative launches this summer on Seabourn Venture’s 11-Day Fjords of East Greenland voyage departing August 5. It will be offered on select sailings on Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit, with a cap of 10 guests per voyage.
“Having a sharp eye for photography when surrounded by natural wonders in remote regions of the world is an extraordinary way to capture the moment, and our new Image Masters program will teach guests how to best photograph the incredible landscapes and wildlife seen on our expedition voyages,” says Robin West, Seabourn’s vice president and general manager, of expedition operations and planning.
Guests who participate in the program will be able to join exclusive photographer-led shore excursions, including Zodiac tours and walks. Along the way, the group will stop to capture photos and discuss techniques.
They’ll also be able to attend at least three exclusive lectures and workshops, participate in one-on-one coaching sessions, enjoy private hours in the ship’s photo studio and attend a photographer-hosted dinner.
“Like every element of the Seabourn experience, Image Masters is designed for guests to enjoy their time with us to the fullest and share it when they return home,” says West.
