Regent Seven Seas Cruises is giving the Seven Seas Mariner a makeover.
Heading to refurbishment in April, the ship will emerge after a planned 20 days in drydock with new culinary experiences, elegant new suite designs and completely renewed, modern guest spaces.
Once all work is complete, the all-suite, all-balcony ship is scheduled to reposition to the Pacific Northwest and begin immersive, luxury Alaska cruises.
“We are delighted to relaunch the refurbished Seven Seas Mariner for what will be an unforgettable 2018 Alaska season,” Jason Montague, president and chief executive officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said in a statement. “Seven Seas Mariner will have been elevated to the highest standards of elegance, and guests will enjoy the highly personalized service delivered by every member of Seven Seas Mariner’s exceptional staff and crew.”
The refurbishment of the Seven Seas Mariner concludes a massive $125 million program that began in 2016 and involved upgrading all three of the ships in the Regent Seven Seas fleet.
The pool deck aboard the Seven Seas Mariner will undergo the most comprehensive redesign, creating a new open layout with teak flooring throughout. A new mosaic-tiled pool, featuring a broad ledge for lounging in shallow water, will be the centerpiece of the new space.
Additional public spaces on the Seven Seas Mariner slated to get a facelift include the atrium, and corridors, which will all receive new carpeting, art, furniture, and décor. The ship library and spa will also be transformed.
The fitness in aerobics center meanwhile, will get new state-of-the-art machines and equipment.
As for suites on the Seven Seas Mariner, they will now include such elegant details as Regent Elite Slumber beds with plush, padded leather headboards; stylish sofas, and new artwork. All suites will also feature walk-in closets and oversized, marble-accented bathrooms.
In celebration of Seven Seas Mariner’s refurbishment milestone, Regent Seven Seas Cruises is offering three-category upgrades aboard the ship’s 10- and 11-night, 2018 Alaska itineraries for any new bookings made before March 31.
