The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) welcomed fifty new members this year, including luxury hospitality brand Four Seasons, to its Executive Committee.
Founded in 1961, Four Seasons has offered luxury hospitality across an expanding portfolio of 140 hotels and over 60 residences.
“At Four Seasons, we have always believed that exceptional hospitality starts with people and is strengthened through service, authentic experiences, and a long-term commitment to the communities and destinations we serve,” said Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of Four Seasons. “As our industry continues to evolve, we are honored to join the World Travel & Tourism Council to advance innovation and strengthen the long-term resilience of the global travel and tourism industry.”
The WTTC is the world’s largest public-private tourism organization. Other new members added this year to the growing list include Allianz Partners, Club Med, Uber, Meliá Hotels International and Mandarin Oriental, which are also now on the Executive Committee.
"We are delighted to welcome Four Seasons to WTTC. For more than 65 years, the company has been at the forefront of luxury hospitality, earning a reputation for excellence that is recognized across the world,” Gloria Guevara, President & CEO of WTTC. “As Travel & Tourism continues to evolve, Four Seasons brings valuable expertise, insight and leadership to our global community. We look forward to working together to help shape the future of travel and create even greater opportunities for sustainable growth across our sector."
