Following the popularity of the recent solar eclipse in North America, Cunard is preparing for the next solar eclipse by announcing three ways that guests can view the 2026 solar eclipse.
Three of its ships: the Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and the upcoming Queen Anne, which debuts in May, will be positioned along the path of the August 12, 2026 solar eclipse. Their itineraries are available to book now, and offer great opportunities to view the incredible cosmic event.
Queen Mary 2 will be offering a 14-night voyage through Norway and Iceland from August 4 through August 18. The ship will be porting overnight in Reykjavik, Iceland during the night of the eclipse. Additionally, the itinerary takes guests to Zeebrugge, Belgium; Olden and Skjolden in Norway; and Isafjordur in Iceland.
Queen Anne will be sailing from August 9 through August 16 on a 7-night roundtrip voyage from Southampton, England to Spain and France. The itinerary takes guests to Pauillace in France and Santander, Gijon and La Coruña in Spain. During the eclipse, the ship will be docked in La Coruña.
Queen Victoria will sail a 7-night voyage from Civitavecchia to Barcelona from August 10 through August 17. Along the way, guests can enjoy watching the eclipse from Tarragona and visit the Spanish island of Palma de Mallorca, and Villefranche and Toulon in France.
