What are you doing December 2017? Have 141 days available and a bad case of wanderlust? If so, pack your bags and prepare to set sail onboard the Viking Sun, which is spending her maiden season sailing Viking Ocean Cruises' first-ever World Cruise.
Passengers will take in five continents, 35 countries and 66 ports (with 12 port overnights) as they take on the adventure of a lifetime.

This epic journey departs on Dec. 15, 2017, from Miami to London, and from there the real adventure begins with stops in some of the world's most legendary cities:
Havana: Spend two days exploring the authentic Old Town, listening to local jazz ensembles and exploring the city on foot.
Panama Canal. Also known as the "path between the seas," the Panama Canal is a man-made wonder. Passengers will have an once-in-a-lifetime experience, as the Viking Sun is lifted and lowered through enormous locks at each end of the canal.
Papeete, Tahiti. An overnight in what can arguably be called paradise gives passengers a chance to steep themselves in Gaugin's favorite destination.
Auckland, New Zealand. An overnight in the City of Two Harbors allows for plenty of time for exploration in New Zealand's "City of Sails."

Shanghai. Old meets new in this modern city, where visitors can explore the dynastic Yuyuan Garden or the riverfront promenade, the Bund.
Sydney. An overnight in this stunning city means visits to the Sydney Opera House, the Royal Botanic Gardens and the shopping district, The Rocks.
Bangkok. One of Asia's most fascinating cities, guests will have plenty of time to discover the wats (temples) and traditional floating markets, as well as tour the Grand Palace.
Singapore. Covering 63 islands, Singapore is the world's only island state and worthy of exploration. Of special note is the National Orchid Garden.
Malta. It's here that Africa meets Europe, and it's here that cruise-goers will experience medieval ambiance, stunning blue grottoes and rocky coasts.
Greenwich. After docking on the Thames, passengers can take advantage of easy access to London and the many iconic sites therein-Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and St. Paul's Cathedral.
While at sea, passengers can enjoy the ship's many amenities, including all veranda staterooms offering heated bathroom floors, luxury linens and toiletries, and large interactive flat-screen LCD TVs with on-demand movies. Guests can while away the afternoon at one of two pools or at the spa, which features a Snow Grotto, where snowflakes gently fall from the ceiling through chilled air. Billed as the "thinking person's cruise," Viking ships offer the Culture Curriculum, including world-class lectures on art and history, wine tastings and folkloric shows featuring performances of regional music.
World Cruises include Business Class air, transfers to and from the ship, all gratuities and service fees, Viking's Silver Spirits beverage package covering virtually all drinks onboard and all medical services.
