Prince Harry, who recently broke up with girlfriend Cressida Bonas, and older brother Prince William (both pictured above, Mirrorpix/Splash News) will reportedly be traveling to Memphis, Tenn., over the weekend to attend the wedding of their longtime friend, London nightclub owner Guy Pelly, to Holiday Inn hotel heiress Elizabeth Wilson.
The ceremony will allegedly take place Saturday, May 3, at the Memphis Polo Club, not far from Graceland, CBS News reports.
The three-day celebrations, of which William and Harry are said to be attending two, are expected to start Friday night, with a visit to the former home of Elvis Presley.
The iconic property, which has been a tourist attraction for 32 years, has helped transform Memphis into a top destination for music fans, with more than 18 million visitors through its doors.
The wedding party is also expected to head to Beale Street in downtown Memphis to dine and have drinks, Daily Mail reports.
The road, which had been known for the blues since the early 1900s, is now a lively tourist attraction, featuring music-themed bars, shops and restaurants.
Memphis Mayor A.C. Wharton told CBS News affiliate WREG, "We are working on the presumption that the royals will be here in Memphis this weekend."
"We are taking all precautions to be prepared," he added.
According to Britain's Mirror, William, 31, will fly to the U.S. for two days before heading back to the U.K. Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, was reportedly invited to the nuptials as well, but allegedly declined to attend so as not to cause a "media circus."
"If all three senior royals had gone it would have required a huge security detail flying to Memphis with them," a source told the paper. "After Australia, Kate's happy to leave William and Harry to it and spend some time at home with George."
William, Kate and George returned last week from their three-week tour of Australia and New Zealand.
