Spencer Seabrooke's idea of taking in the sights and sounds of the area varies wildly from our own. When we do it, imminent death isn't involved.
The Awesomer posted the following video that features Seabrooke's successful slackline attempt in Squamish, British Columbia.
And the video is wonderful. The gorgeous view of the wooded location has us craving an overnight stay.
The town below gives way to a verdant wonderland high atop the nearby mountain. But that's not the only thing that makes this video captivating.
The other part is Seabrooke's record-breaking solo walk across a harrowing expanse:
CBC News reports on the attempt that wasn't without its terrifying moments. At the start, Seabrooke tumbles but catches himself at the right time.
I guess you could say the video had us intrigued from the beginning.
The report states: "Spencer Seabrooke can be seen coming close to falling several times, as he crosses the 64-metre gap at the North Gully of the Chief mountain, 290 meters off the ground without a safety harness, breaking the prior record by seven meters, according to the post."
Now you don't have to be an adrenaline junkie to enjoy the area. Enjoy Squamish touts myriad adventures for interested parties: There's mountain biking, kiteboarding, hiking, fishing and gondola rides.
And, if you are insane, you can walk across a slackline.
