Straight out of Halifax and into your hearts is the following social media post that is going viral at the moment, featuring a scofflaw who dared park his plastic conveyance on the Chebucto Landing boardwalk.
CBC News reports on an adorable photo that also serves as a reminder not to bring your shenanigans anywhere near the tourist area of Halifax in Nova Scotia.
If you do, the police will bring down the hammer of the law on your unruly self, no matter your age or size of vehicle.
The proof is this tweet that features a very real little boy who now has to deal with the ramifications of a very fake ticket.
CBC News explains that Halifax Const. Shawn Currie was out patrolling the area last Friday when he noticed an opportunity to share some humor and goodwill.
Currie explains to the publication, "This one young fellow comes down, he brings his little motorcycle down and he parked it just like the big motorcycles. We thought it would be funny to go over and I pretended to write a ticket for him ... it just created all kinds of atmosphere."
For anyone not familiar with the area, Ken Bourdeau highlights some of the various sights in this quaint portion of Halifax in his blog.
What Bourdeau doesn't point out is that the local police are eager to not only lend help when they can, but also offer an infusion of hilarity when they spot a comedic opening.
Now we just hope this little boy doesn't meet up with another young ruffian, because soon the Chebucto Landing could have an extremely adorable biker gang on its hands.
