Americans really love Disneyland-at least according to Instagram.
In fact, Disneyland is the most Instagrammed place in the world, according to a new survey by online travel company TravelBird.
The theme park is far and away the most popular, beating number two on the list, the Eiffel Tower, with more than 7 million tags. It's not hard to see why: Disney does a good job of making the theme park Insta-worthy.

In the survey results, Disneyland received 14,615,952 tags while the Eiffel Tower had 7,253,011. Walt Disney World had 4,689,396 in the third spot. South Beach, Fla., with 4,689,396 and the Berlin Wall with 4,595,501, rounded out the top 5.
"This study offers a compelling overview of hundreds of destinations that are beloved by Instagram users of their cultural heritage, their stunning natural beauty and their local charm," said Symen Jansma, founder of TravelBird.
"Alongside this, the data also tells a fascinating story about the ways people are traveling in 2017, offering valuable insights for the travel and tourism industry."

Disneyland, Walt Disney World and South Beach were all in the top three for the U.S., and the top five included the Las Vegas Strip in the number-four American-only spot along with Times Square in New York City at number five. The top 10 other most-Instagrammed US locations included Mardi Gras; the Grand Canyon; Waikiki, Hawaii; Yosemite National Park; and Myrtle Beach, S.C.
While the results are fascinating in what they reveal about where people travel in the world, they can also have real world implications for those in the travel industry.
The survey looked at the age-range of Instagram users-great insight into where Millennials and Gen-Xers are traveling. Fifty-five percent of Instagram users are between the ages of 18 and 29. Another 28 percent are between 30 and 49. Eleven percent are between 50 and 64 while just four percent are over the age of 65.
